This page is very important to me, and documents my [wiki base="BP"]artistic return[/wiki]. One of my earliest memories in life is painting pictures at my grandmother’s preschool, which I started attending at the age of six months! (I stayed there until I graduated and went on to kindergarten.) But because of the toxic socialization process we all endure, my creatitivy and love of drawing were in essence beaten out of me by the public school systems. As an adult, I am far enough into my [wiki base="SW"]healing[/wiki] journey that I am rediscovering my [wiki base="BP"]artistic identity[/wiki] and slowly but surely learning to express myself artistically again.
This is a small piece that I colored in early June 2019, mostly using my left hand. (As I talk about elswhere, looking for during our day-to-day activities is a powerful way to be more present, live more consciously, and to ourselves.)
